Not all women suffer from PMS or premenstrual syndrome. Those women who do have different levels from mild to severe. PMS can affect relationships, daily activities and often occurs more during puberty, childbirth, after miscarriage, or changes or contraception.

What is PMDD - premenstrual dysphoric disorder?

PMDD stands for premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). PMDD symptoms are usually depression, irritability and tension before your menstruation period. The symptoms are for more severe in than PMS. If you are noticing these symptoms start a week before your period you may have PMDD.
