Where did menstrual myths originate from and how do they spread?

Science connects menstruation ovulation with a mid seventeen hundreds discovery. Before this time the menstrual cycle was an unknown cause that appeared in every woman with no explanation.  There was also a lack of awareness back then which is why the menstrual cycle was not as scientifically studied.

When does the menstrual cycle start and stop?

The answer, each girl is different. The menstrual cycle is not something a woman can control every month. Each woman is different depending upon her activity and diet level. Certain forms of contraception can also change the cycle or make it stop. Most women will have their menstrual cycle for 47 days, which an ovulation period in between for 21 – 35 days.
