The menstruation cycle is normally between the ages of 12-14. Though a female can start as early as 8 or as late as 16.

Science connects menstruation ovulation with a mid seventeen hundreds discovery. Before this time the menstrual cycle was an unknown cause that appeared in every woman with no explanation.  There was also a lack of awareness back then which is why the menstrual cycle was not as scientifically studied.
