Why do I have irregular periods?

During the first year of your period you may experience irregular, heavier, or skipped periods. This is normal. During the first year of your period cycle you will have irregular periods that very month to month. By adulthood your period should be occurring every 21 – 35 days. Though, each woman is different can have different cycles that are shorter or longer than the average woman.
