Puberty is caused in the female body in preparation for the development for childbirth. The body is preparing itself to be able to hold a child in the future if a woman chooses. During puberty a woman may also notice that her hips are starting to widen which will aid in birth. Puberty is not something you can stop unless you go through hormone therapy as directed by your doctor. Talk to your parents or doctor about puberty if you are nervous or have any questions.

Puberty is the development from an adolescent to an adult. During this time the female body will begin to develop and change in different ways. The development’s of your body will be growing pubic hair, facial hair, underarm hair, beginning of your menstrual period, and development of breasts. Each woman will develop differently and at a different rate depending on genetics and hormones.
