What is PMDD - premenstrual dysphoric disorder?

PMDD stands for premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). PMDD symptoms are usually depression, irritability and tension before your menstruation period. The symptoms are for more severe in than PMS. If you are noticing these symptoms start a week before your period you may have PMDD.

How do you diagnose PMS?

There is no way to diagnose PMS, due to the exact diagnosis isn’t set yet. The best way to diagnose yourself at home is to keep track if you have any other the normal symptoms such as cramps, headaches, backaches, bloating, angry outbursts, irritability, mild depression or skin problems.
