What if I have heavy bleeding?

Heavy bleeding is normal. During the first 23 days many women experience a heavier period flow than normal. If you notice that every period is consistently heavy, consult your doctor to make sure everything is okay. Some women have heavier and longer periods, which can be normal based upon their body’s genetics.

Does having a period cause pain or discomfort?

Yes, your period can cause your discomfort during the first few days before or after. Some women drink more tea, or take pain relievers while feeling the cramps. If your period is causing you to not sleep perform normal daily activity please consult your doctor right away. Your period may cause slight discomfort, but should not cause you to be in agony.
